POLICY: It is the policy of Florida Memorial University to use social security numbers only when required for employment, financial aid, and a limited number of other business transactions.
Social Security Numbers (SSN) are not used as key identifiers in our student information system; however, the university-assigned student ID number is used. The SSN will be stored as a confidential attribute associated with an individual. The SSN will only be used as allowed and mandated by law.
