POLICY: Meals are provided on contracted basis. Unlimited seconds are available during all meals except on special meal nights. Boarding students are not allowed to eat in the cafeteria without their meal cards, unless they pay cash. Stolen, lost or damaged meal cards must be reported to the student accounts office immediately. The cafeteria is not responsible for replacing meal cards.

Sick trays: Students who become sick may request a roommate or a friend to pick up a sick tray for them. To receive a sick tray one must: 1) acquire a pass from the Health Center or his/her residential counselor, 2) have his /her representative take the pass along with his/her ID card to the cafeteria.

Bag /fake-out meals: If students have a class, field trip, or off campus employment that conflicts with the meal services time, they must call the cafeteria office (extension 3779) three (3) days in advance and a bag lunch will be prepared for them, no charge will be assessed to students on the resident meal plan for this service. Take-out meals will not be issued for reasons other than those stated above, without the approval of the Director of Food Service. Those with take-outs are not permitted to obtain seconds.

Other than sick trays and bag meals/take-out meals, no food is allowed out of the cafeteria. The Florida Memorial University family may purchase meals with cash or meal cards during the following hours.

9:00am. – 10:00a.m. Continental Breakfast 11:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. Lunch

2:00p.m. – 3:00p.m. Late Lunch 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. Dinner

Saturday

10:00a.m. – 1:30p.m. Brunch 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m. Dinner

Sunday

10:00a.m. – 1:30p.m. Brunch 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m. Dinner

During Spring break and on holidays, the meal services schedule will follow the Saturday schedule. Note: Meal hours -of operations are subject to change. Changes will be published and announced in advance.
