POLICY: Disciplinary files of the University Judicial System are retained by the Division of Student Affairs. Access to disciplinary records is provided in accordance with the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended.

PROCEDURES: Disciplinary records maintained by the Division of Student Affairs are retained for seven years from the date of the most recent incident in the student’s file or until one year after the student has graduated from the University.

Records of students who are suspended, expelled, prohibited from future enrollment, or otherwise withdrawn for disciplinary or medical reasons; are retained indefinitely.
